ResourcesUpdated June 20, 2009 The California Nurses Association (CNA) has filed a lawsuit under the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Public Resources Code section 21000, et seq., against the County of Alameda and the Alameda Board of Supervisors, challenging the approval of the final environmental impact report for the Sutter Medical Center, Castro Valley replacement hospital. The lawsuit threatens the future of the new hospital project. We will provide ongoing updates on this topic in our blog section.
