We want to thank you for your support and input over this past year as we work toward building a new regional medical center to service our communities. We have made great progress in 2008, and we are looking forward to moving ahead in 2009 to make this dream a reality.

This week, the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) was made available by Alameda County for public review and comment. This is a major milestone for this project, putting us one step closer to a new hospital for residents for central Alameda County. Alameda County Releases Draft Environmental Impact Report
for Sutter Medical Center, Castro Valley
45-Day Comment Period Is Now Open
The Alameda County Planning Department has released the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) of the Sutter Medical Center Castro Valley hospital rebuilding project for public review and comment. The DEIR , a requirement under the California Environmental Quality Act, analyzes potentially significant environmental impacts in 14 different categories.
